The Minds Behind Kodai Learning

Michael Bennett
Founder, President, and Head Advisor/Tutor
"I started Kodai Learning in November 2024 to turn my personal tutoring work into something bigger and more meaningful. After five years of experience designing and testing SAT questions with College Board, working with programs like SchoolHouse and The Princeton Review, and helping ESL students adjust to American school subjects, I wanted to create a space that really supports students from all backgrounds.
As someone with a Japanese background who took medical leave in high school, I know firsthand how tough the college process can be when your path looks a little different. I’m currently a sophomore at UT Austin, double majoring in Economics and Government, with minors in Japanese and Business and Public Policy. I specialize in humanities and
I am also one of our main tutors and advisors for a variety of programs such as our SAT bootcamps and college admissions services"

Dean Chaudhry
Vice President and Head Advisor/Tutor
"I’m Dean Chaudhry, a junior studying Computer Science at UT Austin with a passion for both teaching and technology. I’ve taught robotics and coding as a software intern at STEMKIDZ USA, and I co-created the Data Science program at Cinco Ranch High School, which is still in use today. I’ve also worked as a tennis coach and camp director for KatyISD’s summer camp, where I taught over 200 students and helped run daily operations.
Outside of school, I serve as a teaching assistant at Masjid Al-Farouq, helping students in Arabic and Islamic studies.
At Kodai Learning, I am a head tutor and adviser and teach SAT courses along with a variety of STEM subjects. My goal is to make learning engaging, accessible, and practical for every student I work with."
